How it Works
First, we’ll need you to fill out our short application so that we can provide you with the appropriate coverage option. Next, you’ll select the coverage option of your choice. From there, you can purchase and download your policy.
Annual Policy
Policies must be paid in full via credit card and include the following:
- Instant Coverage
- Immediate Proof of Insurance
- 24/7 Access to Policy
- A+ Rated Insurance Carrier
- $285/yr - $1M coverage Limit
- $385/yr - $2M coverage Limit
- Product Liability Included
Who Is Eligible For This Program?
If you are an artisan who hand makes ALL of the products you sell or who has others hand make ALL of the products you sell under your direct supervision, subject to specific product exclusions, you may apply online for a policy.
Currently the program is available to artisans based in all states except AK, HI, RI, and NH. This program is not available to artisans outside of the United States.

The HandMade Artisans Risk Purchasing Group insurance program provides the necessary business GENERAL LIABILITY coverage, including PRODUCT LIABILITY, to protect you and your business and to satisfy most insurance requirements typically needed at fairs, exhibitions, markets and other venues. The HandMade Artisans Risk Purchasing Group insurance program is available 24/7 online.
